Dave

Dave is the owner and our fearless leader. Dave & his wife, Tammy, opened their first store more than 10 Years ago and have grown it into the most successful Pawn Shop in the Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania area. Dave grew up in Richmond and he & Tammy have been married for over 35 years. His most favorite past times are fishing, hunting & golfing.

Tammy

Tammy is one of the owners and the “Mother Hen” of the Liberty Team. Tammy is a true outdoors-woman and enjoys everything from camping and fishing to hiking and hunting. Her true passion is rock hounding and she has traveled all over the US, especially out west, to find the most rare and precious rocks and minerals the Earth has to offer. You can check out a small piece of her collection at the remodeled location on Rt. 3 which she runs.

Josh

Josh has been with the team for several years and manages our Stoney Creek Dr. location. Josh is an avid firearm enthusiast and is regarded as the top gun seller in the company. The self-proclaimed “Emperor” can often be found out at the range with Carl or at his favorite restaurant, Chipotle.

Chris

Chris has been with the company for a few years and still surprises us every day. Chris handles a variety of items that we see come in but one of his passions are video games, new and old, and he brings that passion with him every day to the store. His favorite is the all-time classic, The Legend of Zelda. Chris never let games get in the way of his studies though. He graduated in the top 15% of his graduating class nation-wide. That’s one smart gamer!

Shane

Shane works at our Plank Rd location and handles the day to day shipping and handling of internet sales. He is a certified marksman coach and diesel engine mechanic. Shane is also collector of anything video game or comic book related, especially the old stuff, and has his entire collection cataloged. But his prized possession is his 1974 VW Super Beetle that his has owned for the last 18 years; better known as BumbleBee.

Wilson

Wilson is a long-time fixture at Liberty Pawn and has been with us for over 6 years. He is a jack of many trades and handles everything from Firearms & Sporting Goods to Art & Jewelry. Wilson is also the longest tenured employee with the company! In his off time he enjoys farming his 5 acres of land and taking care of his pet reptiles.

Anna

Anna is our Internet Sales Manager and presides over the eCommerce departments for both stores. She has been with us for over 5 years and has developed an expertise in Pandora jewelry and vintage comic books. Anna also enjoys yard saling and antiquing and never misses an opportunity for a bargain. Her prized possession is her over 100 piece rubber duck collection which she has spent the last 8 years cultivating.

Casey

Casey is new to us but is already a perfect fit. He loves the outdoors and hiking and is proud member of Virginia Minutemen Militia. Don’t judge this book yet though! Casey is also an accomplished borosilicate glass artist and the Vice President of the local Car Audio Club! This guy’s full of surprises!

Sandi

Sandi started in the Pawn Industry in 1998 and was an enthusiastic Pawnbroker for 10 years. As a single mom, she had to take a break and focus on raising her 2 daughters. Now that they are both grown, she is able to pursue her passions including the outdoors, camping, cooking, riding ATVS, & of course learning new things! She has been the perfect addition to our team!

Will

Will is a born and bred Fredericksburgian and is fondly known around the shop as Billiam. Will handles the internet sales and shipping for our Stoney Creek Dr. location and is rising to the challenge. He is a passionate firearm enthusiast and collector of anything and everything that catches his eye. When he’s not working, you can probably find him playing video games or enjoying the outdoors!

James

James has been affiliated with Liberty Pawn and Gold longer than any other employee. He has been helping fix, adjust, & rearrange both stores since we opened. He is now our full-time Operations Manager and oversees the cleaning, restoration, & repair of all of our pre-owned merchandise. James is also a passionate coin collector and is always on the hunt for something rare. The stores wouldn’t be the same without him!

Brenton

Brenton is our in-house photographer & Etsy Manager. He photographs everything from high-end diamond rings & vintage jewelry to Rolex Watches & Japanese Tea Sets. He’s not limited to photography though! Brenton is an excellent artist and has been drawing & painting for most of his life. The rest of the time he can be found lounging with the best cat in the world, Smokey-san.

Before his time with Liberty Pawn and Gold he was in the US Navel Sea Cadet program for 5 years and was awarded the national title of Cadet of the Year in 2013. If this isn’t enough to impress, he is also a licensed scuba diver!
